Solarys announced today that Solarys Core, its AI intelligence platform for decision making and unstructured data operations, has been independently assessed as "awardable" by the Department of Defense (DoD) Platform One Solutions Marketplace (P1SM) following a competitive, panel-evaluated submission process. With this designation, Solarys joins a curated catalog of more than 40 post-competition solutions, alongside vendors including AWS Marketplace, Anchore, and Horizon3.ai.

Solarys Core's pitch video, accessible only to government customers on the Platform One Solutions Marketplace, presents a real mission use case for the platform. Government customers can create a Marketplace account at https://p1.dso.mil/marketplace to view it.

Because P1SM evaluates submissions through a competitive, panel-scored process, the marketplace is post-competition: an awardable designation reflects that a solution has already been measured against P1SM's scoring rubric and is ready for streamlined acquisition. Federal customers can acquire awardable solutions through flexible acquisition pathways, including FAR-based contracts, Other Transaction Agreements (OTAs), and follow-on Production OTs. For commercial products and services, simplified acquisition procedures under FAR 13.500 currently allow awards of up to $9 million (a ceiling periodically adjusted for inflation), while Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) and prototype Other Transaction authorities currently support larger efforts of up to $100 million; Platform One has reported procurement acquisition lead times under 30 days. The awardable designation opens a 24-month acquisition window for Solarys Core through May 2028.

“Federal teams shouldn't have to wait years for AI that's already production-grade. Solarys Core was built for high-stakes decision environments where reliability and provenance matter, and being assessed awardable on Platform One gives DoD customers a fast lane to access it.”
Michelangelo Garces, CTO
